Departure from Vigo, following secondary backroads that head into the interior of the Pontevedra province. The route traverses lush green valleys, small hamlets, and typical southern Galician Atlantic forests. As we gain altitude, natural viewpoints over the Tea River valley appear. Arrival in Mondariz, famous for its spa tradition and natural surroundings—an ideal spot to rest after the first day’s ride. Overnight in Mondariz.
📍 DAY 2 – Rural Roads and Inland Galicia
Mondariz → Lalín

The journey continues into the heart of Galicia along quiet, rider-friendly roads that cross sparsely traveled rural areas. Landscapes of meadows, oak groves, and small stone villages accompany us throughout the day. Lalín, located in the very center of Galicia, serves as a strategic point between gentle mountains and winding roads perfect for pure riding enjoyment. Overnight in Lalín.
📍 DAY 3 – From the Interior to the Galician Inlets
Lalín → Vilagarcía de Arousa
Approx. distance: 171 km
The route progressively descends from the highlands toward the Atlantic coast. The roads become more scenic as the first landscapes of the Rías Baixas appear, featuring vineyards, traditional stone granaries (hórreos), and fishing villages. Arrival in Vilagarcía de Arousa, one of the main ports of the inlet and the gateway to the famous Ría de Arousa. Overnight in Vilagarcía.
📍 DAY 4 – Vineyards and Coastal Drives
Vilagarcía de Arousa → O Grove

A short but highly panoramic stage skirting the inlet. The route crosses the O Salnés wine region, renowned for its Albariño vineyards and twisting roads nestled between the sea and the countryside.
