Detailed Itinerary

📍 DAY 1 – Entering Morocco and the Rif Mountains

Tarifa → Chefchaouen

Approx. distance: 150–180 km

Departure from Tarifa, crossing the Strait to Morocco and entering the country through the Tangier area.

The route continues inland, crossing the Rif Mountains until reaching Chefchaouen, Morocco's famous "Blue City."

Overnight in Chefchaouen.

📍 DAY 2 – From the Rif to the Middle Atlas

Chefchaouen → Ifrane

Approx. distance: 230–260 km

Chefchaouen → Ifrane Approx. distance: 230–260 km The route heads deeper into the country, passing through historic cities and increasingly mountainous landscapes.

Today's destination is Ifrane, known as the "Moroccan Switzerland" for its Alpine architecture and cedar forests.

📍 DAY 3 – Heading to the Sahara Desert

Ifrane → Merzouga

Approx. distance: 420–450 km

A long day's ride crossing the Middle Atlas and gradually descending toward southern Morocco.

The route traverses valleys, gorges, and increasingly arid landscapes until reaching the famous Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga.

Overnight in Merzouga.

📍 DAY 4 – Desert Day and Rest

Merzouga (Free Day)

A day to enjoy the Sahara Desert.

Options:

Off-road motorcycle route around Erg Chebbi.

Camel trek through the dunes.

Sunset in the desert.

A night under the Sahara stars.

Overnight in Merzouga.

📍 DAY 5 – The Anti-Atlas

Merzouga → Serghine

Approx. distance: 200–230 km

Leaving the desert behind, we head west through arid and mountainous terrains.

The route passes through oases, small Berber villages, and lonely roads until reaching Serghine.

Overnight in Serghine.

📍 DAY 6 – Arrival at the Red City

Serghine → Marrakech

Approx. distance: 320–350 km

The journey continues west across valleys and desert landscapes before reaching the legendary Marrakech.

The "Red City" is one of Morocco's most vibrant places, famous for its Medina and Jemaa el-Fna square.

Overnight in Marrakech.

📍 DAY 7 – From the Atlas to the Atlantic

Marrakech → Agadir → Essaouira

Approx. distance: 330–350 km

The route heads toward the Atlantic coast, crossing the landscapes of southern Morocco.

First, we reach Agadir, one of the country's main coastal cities.

Then, the road continues hugging the ocean until the historic city of Essaouira, famous for its port and sea-facing ramparts.

📍 DAY 8 – The Moroccan Atlantic Coast

Essaouira → Moulay Bousselham

Approx. distance: 430–460 km

The journey continues north along the Atlantic coast, passing through cities like Casablanca and Rabat.

The final destination for the day is Moulay Bousselham, a small fishing village located next to a natural lagoon.

Overnight in Moulay Bousselham.

📍 DAY 9 – Return to Europe

Moulay Bousselham → Tarifa

Approx. distance: 160–180 km

The final stage follows the coast north until reaching Tangier once again.

From there, we cross the Strait of Gibraltar to return to Tarifa.
