From cliffside villages to hidden coves that look like they’ve come out of a dream, this route combines beach, mountains, and Mediterranean culture. Ride roads that open to impossible viewpoints, discover castles watching over the blue sea, and indulge in local flavors that awaken all your senses. Every day is an invitation to explore, be surprised, and feel the freedom of the Mediterranean on your motorcycle.

Detailed Itinerary

📍 DAY 1 – From the Valencian Mediterranean to the Costa Dorada

Valencia → Almenara → Castellón → Delta del Ebro → Sant Carles de la Ràpita

Approx. distance: 300–320 km

Departure from Valencia, hugging the Mediterranean along quiet coastal roads. The route passes by Almenara Castle and continues along the Castellón coast before reaching the spectacular Ebro Delta, one of the most unique natural landscapes in the Mediterranean. Overnight near the sea in Sant Carles de la Ràpita or surrounding area.

 

📍 DAY 2 – From the Ebro Delta to the Costa Brava

Sant Carles de la Ràpita → Tarragona → Sitges → Barcelona → Calella de Palafrugell

Approx. distance: 280 - 300 km

The journey continues along the Catalan coast, passing historical sites like the El Mèdol Roman quarry and the beaches of the Costa Dorada. After bypassing Barcelona, the route finally enters the stunning Costa Brava. Overnight in Calella de Palafrugell or surrounding area, one of the most beautiful villages on the Catalan shoreline.

 

📍 DAY 3 – The Essence of the Costa Brava

Calella de Palafrugell → Begur → L’Escala → L’Armentera → Cadaqués

Approx. distance: 160–180 km

A day dedicated to enjoying the most authentic Costa Brava. Winding coastal roads connect fishing villages, scenic lookouts, and hidden coves. The route passes iconic landmarks like the Sant Martí de L’Armentera church and several Mediterranean viewpoints before reaching Cadaqués, one of the most magical towns on the entire Catalan coast.

 

📍 DAY 4 – Legendary Curves and Night in Tossa de Mar

Cadaqués → Quermany Petit → Sant Feliu de Guíxols → Tossa de Mar

Approx. distance: 190–210 km

A spectacular stage linking some of the most exciting riding roads in the Costa Brava. The route crosses natural viewpoints like Quermany Petit and continues south along panoramic seaside roads. The day ends in Tossa de Mar, one of the Mediterranean's most iconic spots, famous for its castle overlooking the sea.

 

📍 DAY 5 – From the Mediterranean to Inland Catalonia

Tossa de Mar → Barcelona → Montseny → Santa Maria de l’Estany

Approx. distance: 220–240 km

The final day by the sea, passing the Tossa Viewpoint and the Calella Lighthouse before skirting Barcelona. From here, the route heads inland through the Montseny Natural Park, featuring mountain roads packed with curves. Overnight in the peaceful rural setting of Santa Maria de l’Estany.

 

📍 DAY 6 – Returning to Valencia through the Interior

Santa Maria de l’Estany → Castell de Querol → Terres de l’Ebre → Valencia

Approx. distance: 320–340 km

The final leg, traversing the rural landscapes of the Catalan and Valencian interior. The route passes through small historic villages and low-traffic roads before returning to the Mediterranean and arriving in Valencia, closing this spectacular loop through the coast and the heartland. End of the journey.
