Seven days on two wheels where every curve takes you to another world: vineyards climbing the Douro slopes, snow-capped peaks in Serra da Estrela, medieval walls, wild Atlantic beaches, and breathtaking cliffs in the Algarve. Detailed Itinerary

📍 DAY 1 – Seville → Beja: First stage of discovery

Approx. distance: 300 km

Leaving Seville behind, we head towards southern Portugal through winding secondary roads and landscapes that shift from olive groves to rolling hills. The city of Beja welcomes us with its castle and historical charm—the perfect spot to kick off our two-wheeled adventure. Overnight in Beja.

📍 DAY 2 – Beja → Évora → Castelo de Vide: Deep into Alentejo

Approx. distance: 280 km

A journey through the heart of Alentejo, with stops in Évora to admire its Roman and medieval heritage. We continue north, riding past landscapes of holm oaks and golden hills, until we reach Castelo de Vide—a village of walls and narrow streets that seem frozen in time. Overnight in Castelo de Vide.

📍 DAY 3 – Castelo de Vide → Marvão → Chaves: Heading North

Approx. distance: 350 km

Winding roads and endless viewpoints accompany us as we climb through the São Mamede mountains. A brief stop in Marvão, one of Portugal's most beautiful villages perched high on the rock. We continue north to Chaves, a historic city nestled by the Tâmega River. Overnight in Chaves.

📍 DAY 4 – Chaves → Bragança → Vila Real: Portugal’s Deep North

Approx. distance: 300 km

A route through the most authentic and greenest part of northern Portugal, passing through Bragança with its medieval castle and mountain roads that bring us close to natural parks. Arrival in Vila Real, with time to wander its streets and enjoy the local gastronomy. Overnight in Vila Real.

📍 DAY 5 – Vila Real → Porto → Viseu: Roads and Wines

Approx. distance: 280 km

A descent towards the Atlantic coast for a quick tour of Porto, the city of bridges and wine cellars. We then pick up the N2 heading south, crossing villages and Dão vineyards until we reach Viseu, a historic city with medieval charm and lively squares. Overnight in Viseu.

📍 DAY 6 – Viseu → Guarda → Ciudad Rodrigo → Cáceres: Crossing into Spain through Extremadura

Approx. distance: 360 km

Today we leave Portugal and return to Spain through mountain roads and valleys. We pass through Guarda and cross towards Ciudad Rodrigo with its medieval fortress. Finally, we enter Extremadura to stay in Cáceres, a World Heritage city famous for its historic quarter. Overnight in Cáceres.

📍 DAY 7 – Cáceres → Mérida → Seville: A Return Full of History and Landscapes

Approx. distance: 300 km

The final leg of our loop. From Cáceres to Mérida, crossing the Extremaduran countryside with its open landscapes and Roman monuments. We continue along secondary roads until we reach Seville, closing this great adventure over the legendary Portuguese N2 and the landscapes of southern Spain.
